Carnival Guy’s Burger Joint Menu, Review & Pro Tips

Recently on my Carnival Sunrise cruise, I had my first bite at Guy’s Burger Joint, and it instantly became one of my favorite spots on a Carnival Cruise. The smell of sizzling beef and fresh grilled buns pulled me in the moment I stepped onto the Lido Deck.  

Guy’s Burger Joint is on Deck 9 (Lido Deck), close to a few of my other favorite spots like Blue Iguana Cantina and The Deli. It has a bright, casual outdoor vibe with picnic-style seating, a red-and-yellow color theme, and that classic roadside burger shack feel.

We arrived hungry on embarkation day and decided to grab lunch here before doing anything else. I ordered The Ringer — a juicy cheeseburger topped with a crispy Rojo onion ring and tangy Bourbon Brown Sugar BBQ sauce. I went full-on with toppings like pickles, jalapeños, and a generous slather of creamy Donkey Sauce from the topping bar. The first bite was messy, hot, and absolutely delicious. It felt like the perfect welcome to the cruise.

On Carnival Venezia and Firenze, Guy’s Burger Joint offers a special Italian-themed burger menu you won’t find on other ships.

The next morning, I was surprised to learn that Carnival Sunrise is one of the few ships offering breakfast burgers at Guy’s. By 7:30 AM, I was already back at the counter. This time, I tried the All American — a hearty burger with a beef patty, fried eggs, crispy bacon, tomato, hashbrown patty, cheddar cheese, and that irresistible maple Donkey Sauce, all stacked on a toasted bun. It was rich, flavorful, and probably one of the most satisfying breakfasts I’ve had at sea.

What makes this venue extra special is the freedom to customize your burger. Whether you want it spicy, cheesy, or loaded with onions and sauce, the topping station has it all. And yes, the Donkey Sauce — Guy Fieri’s signature creamy, garlicky spread — is a must-try. Drizzle it, dip it, or dunk your whole burger. Either way, it brings the flavor up a notch. 

Guy’s Burgers Carnival Hours 

Guy’s Burger Joint is usually open from around 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, though on sea days, I’ve seen it open by 11:30 AM. On select ships, breakfast burgers are served from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM, but always double-check the Carnival Hub App or Fun Times schedule for exact hours.

There’s no dress code here. Come in your swimsuit, flip-flops, or casual cruise wear. It’s made for quick bites, chill vibes, and no stress. No reservations are needed, and best of all, it’s completely free. You can go back for seconds or thirds, and no one will judge you.  

I saw guests grabbing burgers before and after hitting the pool, during sea days, and even right before a shore excursion.

Guy’s Burger Joint really lives up to the hype. It’s not fancy but it doesn’t need to be. It’s comfort food, made fresh, served fast, and perfect for cruise vibes.
